If she ran, she would never see him again.
And so, as far as Mrs. Lovett was concerned, her life was already over. Sad though she was to see it all end so soon, she did love Mr. T and knew she wouldn't have been able to live without him.
Mr. T danced with her, spinning her around the room, and Mrs. Lovett was, even for a moment, in Heaven. For that moment, everything was forgotten, everything that had kept them apart was gone. He spun her closer to the oven and Mrs. Lovett felt that, in the end, this was all she could ask for.
The fire wasn't so bad. After all, as soon as he let go, she was already in Hell.

School's almost out! Hoooooraay! And then I have a voice recital coming up that I'm really not looking forward to, so I hope to get that done with REALLY soon.
